Wood End printing starts with a log, that is cut down to a workable size. Each piece is planed and sanded to a gorgeous smooth surface and then burned and brushed to reveal the grain. The ink is rolled onto the surface of the wood and the paper is pressed on top with the help of a stainless teaspoon. Once every area on the piece of wood has been rubbed with the spoon on the backside of the paper the paper is lifted to reveal the print. This process creates a gorgeous depiction of the life of the trees in a raised ink image.

Ce processus crée une représentation magnifique de la vie des arbres dans une image d'encre en relief.
